COPE – Program Child Assistant (Volunteer) – Child Services, Regina October 2006 – November 2006 February 2007 – April 2007 § Coordination and implementation of programs and activities for children. § Development of relationships with the children so as to guide them in the desired behavior their parents were learning about during the program. § Be aware of possible problems children were having at home and facilitate where necessary. Customer Sales Associate – Home Depot, Regina, July 2006, -May 2008 § Greeting customers and attending to any needs they may have throughout the store. § Specific duties involve the area of flooring and ordering of special flooring material for customers, as well as giving guidance of how to install flooring. § Assist and with weekend “How to” seminars § Prepare quotes for customers in special services and follow up on these quotes to assist potential customers with any questions. § General cleaning and preparing the department for the next days opening. Educational Assistant – Living Skies School Division, North Battleford, SK § Working with a student with cerebral palsy. Implementation of programming for this student as instructed by the school and his parents. § Volleyball coach 2002, 2003, 2005 – coaching of senior girl’s volleyball team for two years and the junior high boys for another year. Duties involved coordinating practices, organizing driving to and from games and encouraging each player to excel not only in this sport, but in all areas as well. |

Interests |
I have always had an interest in volunteerism. During high school, I was president of our church youth group, member of our choir, member of our worship team, helper at Daily Vacation Bible School and participant of the Duke of Edinburough Awards, eventually receiving the gold award.Since I have been in Macklin I have participated in two community plays, vacation bible school, our church worship team, youth Sunday school teacher and treasurer of Macklin Minor Sports.
Some of the other interests I have are quilting, sewing, volleyball, and kayaking, camping, hiking, biking, and general fitness |
